The 21st Night of September
This is a documentation of the infamous North vs. South rivalry game and the 14 year streak South High had on my alma mater, North High School. I decided to go home for the big game because I had vowed that I will continue to go to the game every year until I got to see North win. I suppose I got lucky with it being just the year after I graduated. In this video I choose to emphasize on the colors of the two teams, and naturally orange got the spotlight. I also wanted it to feel nostalgic and there to be a certain joy that people get when they are home. My intention is to have others feel the sense of 'home'.
Virtuous
My intention for this film is to make the viewer see shaving in a new light. I wanted to demonize the removal our hair and shed some empathy for it. Humans don't need to remove their hair to look like society's pressure to be perfect. I want viewers to feel uncomfortable watching the video, making the scissors and razor the villain. If nature takes over every time why do we meticulously go back to remove it?
Virtuous 2
This was part two to the first video Virtuous. In this film I decided to add a person to the 'crime' of shaving. Generously lathering up her skin with shaving cream in preparation for the removal of her hair. In the end she has the stains of what she did on her hands and still holding the weapon. The razor. The sense of what I want the viewer to feel is the guilt of the surrender to society.

Family Meeting (Unfinished)
Twin Fight
Never Have I Ever
For this screenplay, I was inspired by Gustav Holst's, Japanese Suite. There is a quality in the song that took me out of reality and got me thinking about the depths that human emotion gets taken to and how we can act upon it.
It is still unfinished but I was inspired by the idea of a trip somewhere with the different relationships made along the way. Becoming a temporary dream that ultimately must end.
This was the very first screenplay I had written in high school for my literature as film class. I wrote it to be a comedy about the small inside jokes that my friends and I had.
I was inspired by a short film I had seen one year at the Cleveland Film Festival called The New Guy. I pictured in my head a sequence of a circular pan going around a room of couple of teenagers playing a party game. My friend and I decided to collaborate one night and write this together.
Virtuous Narrative (Unfinished)
From what started out as a conceptual film from one of my classes I decided to put a narrative to Virtuous.
